Young Ru born a "product to society" November 8th, 1987 in the live music capitol of the World. At avey young age Ru was introduced to music by his father's older brother "Ruben Twain" a diamond in the rough if you will, some what of a street legend in the music world of Austin. Young Ru grew amazingly fascinatetd with the melodies and rythmes his uncle would play, eager to show Ru exactly how it was done, he strumed the acoustic guitar while playin the harmonica and singin original blues tunes, so music was enbeded in the blood of Young Ru. As Young Ru became older he bagan to explore the worl of sound, determined to be come phenominal. At a young age Ru began playing the piano teaching himself to cover songs and play chords in all keys. Quickly after Ru caught on he learned that the true spine and life of the music is in the drums so he bagan to study patterns and rythm. Soon after Ru was handed down a drum set from a family friend and immediately Ru began to teach himself to play. Young Ru's learning ability was so rapid mainly because of his consitency let alone his naturaul ability to catch on to any kind of music. Young Ru began to cover songs in his gaurage such as hits frm AC/DC, Al Green, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson and the list goes on. As time went by Young Ru sudenly felt like the instrumnets were not enough. Something was missing. As he searched for greater he bagan to think, " The voice is an instrument itself, its only a muscle, if you train it it will work." Young Ru says to himself as he discover the power of the voice and the words that come with it. so Ru began to study the art of vocalism and song writting. In the process he stumbled across a "Nas" album. A legendary rapper from New York. Ru almost instantly became more than a fan of the style of music and the message he heard and Ru felt like that was it, thats what he wanted to do. Create a message through a story line and bring knowledge and emotion to people through words and melodies. Shortly after Ru started writting music he was approached by a group of rappers who was solidly establishing their names in the Austin rap scene. "TexasYoung Kingz" consisted of 6 young individuals from Dovesprings, a neighborhood known for its high crime rate and heavily drug invested streets. "TexasYoung Kingz" asked Young Ru to join the group to complete the atmosphere and altitide of the group so Young Ru did. The group began to put CD's out and blast singles from burned CD's also featuring well established Texas artists on singles such as: Tum Tum of D.S.R., King Kyle Lee and the Houston underground legend himself, Magno. The music began to pick up a heavy buzz plus the groups marketing abilities to catch a following made a perfect combination to bring the group the attention they needed to make it the music business. Young Ru did shows all around Texas sharing the stage with legends and young moguls such as Scarface, 8ball & MJG, Paul Wall, Trae the Truth, Z-ro, the multi platinum Bone Thugz n Harmony, Slim Thug as well as Ruben Ramos, Augistine Ramirez and the list goes on. This taught Ru how to catch a crowd with his performance and brought him to the level he is at now. Able to stand in front of thousands and talk as if its just him and the Mic. As Ru continued touring texas he met a group of guys out of South West Houston. Rob G "Mr. Reppin my block" an international artist that was making way for him and his group "SWAT Product." Ru stayed in Houston to learn the business behind a successful company and in the midst of that Ru built a relationship with well established artists and moguls in Houston. When Ru returned to Austin his aspect on music and success was completely different. A new start and new way of seeing things. shortly after his return Ru began to make moves again and caught the attention of a young Mogul by the name of "Prez", owner and President of Prez Ent. Prez began to work with Young Ru adding him to his company roster alongside Trae the Truth, Rob G, Pappa Rue, Jayton, Voice Main event and Mak Man. Young Ru is a young innovative artist on a mission to become the first to make out of his city.
