RunForItStacy!

RunForItStacy! was formed in 2011 by Jay Brodzeller (vocals/guitar) and Alex Buckland (drums) and is based in Indianapolis, IN. The band members are students at Perry Meridian High School. As the band became better known in the surrounding area, Larry Hess was added on bass to bring the band from a small garage band, to a more legit local band. A few months later Jay Freudenburg was put on lead guitar to bring his metal influence into the punk band, and since then the band has been a regular presence in the Indy all-ages music scene. In late 2012 Jay B. and Larry traded instruments and the band then recorded a 6 track EP in January 2013. Shortly thereafter Layne Bare joined the band to play bass, freeing up Jay B. to put more energy and passion into his vocal performances. They are often asked who Stacy is - this unfortunately remains a mystery both to the general public and the band itself. Our influences include Blink 182, Senses Fail, Ice Nine Kills, Taking the Fall, Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, and City Lights.
