Runner

Runner began 2 years ago as a small cog in Perth’s vibrant experimental scene. Since then the band’s sound has expanded to include luscious three part vocal harmonies, warm guitar tones, double drums and driving bass underpinning. All of this builds on the solid melodic focus from their instrumental beginnings. Their latest release, Footprints/Cubs, showcases the culmination of time spent developing the band’s sound as they ready themselves to launch into the studio with a newfound confidence and wealth of material.

The band draws everywhere from the breezy sounds of Real Estate, the intricate soundscapes of Bon Iver to the overwhelming orchestrations of Explosions in the Sky.
