Bio

Hailing from two very different parts of the world, the passion that lies behind RunRabbitRun couldn't be more the same. Singer and guitar player Paul Davis grew up in Boston Massachusetts, performing in many bands but always felt deep down that where he was, was not where he was meant to be. Drummer Bruce Fulford comes from South Africa. After drum school in London and playing with Lustra (who appears in the movie Eurotrip) Bruce made his way into Los Angeles. There Bruce and Paul literally stumbled across each other.

While buying a tv from a thrift shop on Hollywood Blvd, Bruce had a near fatal collision on foot with Paul, who was coming out of the club Boardners. The two began talking about music and movies (the tv Bruce was buying had a built in DVD player so he could watch his new copy of House of 1000 Corpses) and a friendship was kindled.
Initially they started a tribute band to Nirvana, called Penny Royal and instantly found success (as much as one could find with a tribute band). They played all over america, as far as Alaska; won "Best Tribute" awards from Rock City News and The LA Music Awards and brought the music and passion of Nirvana back to thousands. Playing someone elses music, however, does get a bit trying after a while, especially while creativity was erupting inside the duo. In 2007 Penny Royal called it quits and Paul and Bruce began what is now known as "RunRabbitRun".

Paul and Bruce are now armed with an explosive set of material, a live set to quiver over and the passion to succeed like no other. Their first full length record "Doctors & the Devils" is self produced and is being self released. All songs are original except for "Do You Believe in Rapture?"by Sonic Youth, which received the blessing of SY before release.
