Bio
Rupert Gayle is a veteran of the Canadian music scene. Selling over 1 MILLION units and bringing 25 years of expertise ranging from his own career as an artist, to artist management, A&R and songwriting.
Rupert, most recently signed to BMG Music Publishing, was responsible for writing the winners singles for Canadian Idols Ryan Malcolm (Something More) and Kalan Porter (Awake In A Dream). He has also won numerous SOCAN #1 awards, including Epic/Sony BMG artist Keshia Chantés Does He Love Me, Idol runner-up Rex Goudies Run and George's Talk To Me.
His songs have been included on albums by 2007 Canadian Idol winner Brian Melo, 2005 Canadian Idol winner Melissa ONeil, Rex Goudie (Sony BMG), Keshia Chante (Sony BMG), Cory Lee (Universal), George (Universal), Shawn Desman (Sony BMG), Kalan Porter (Sony BMG), Jamelia (Parlophone UK), Audrey DeMontigny (Canadian Idol, BMG Canada), Lenou Mouskouri (Mercury France), Sugar Jones (Canada PopStars 1, Universal), Velvet Empire (Canada Popstars 2, Universal) and Ryan Malcolm (Sony BMG) to name just a few.
