Overcoming a troubled childhood, surviving his older brother hanging himself in the shed, domestic violence, sexual abuse, drug addictions, and coming from a family of eight, RuQusS has much to say. Finding his Plan B in music became his purpose.

With everything from Eminem Rap, Justin Timberlake Pop, & John Mayer Acoustics, RuQusS has a unique sound. Placing a positive Christian root within each experience and song he writes… “The music is real!” He says, “I started really writing songs in In School Detention, I would have never imagined to make it this far, I guess God always had a plan for me.”

Placing a twist of humor to the seriousness of his style, RuQusS keeps things entertaining while not loosing his listeners. Selling nearly 500 copies of his Independent released Freshman album “Family Problems”(2008), he quickly made a name for himself locally & began reaching fans across the United States. With songs such as Family Problems, Plan B, Story of A Baby (awarded & placed 1st on I-25 Alliance Compilation Album), Pimple Life, & Memories, many fans saw a Real Life Transformation since his first mixtape N.E.M.O. (Never Expected Much Of 2005). He has Booked shows and performances all across Colorado, and Nashville TN. When auditioning for Band With A Mission, Austin Cook (A&R who found Rush of Fools) hears “Plan B” and says “Amazing song, very deep & insightful lyrics!”

After achieving the recognition he needed locally, RuQusS kicks in the door with his latest achievement “Relationship”(2009-2010). RuQusS Relationship tells an incredible story of a young man's fight for his heart and the woman he loves. Equipping & inspiring Godly men to love Jesus, & lead our homes, while dying for our wives, sisters, & children; which is no greater honor when serving God  Proving you can live for God despite mistakes or circumstances life has dealt.

RuQusS Relationship has done exceptionally well with both Secular & Christian markets! With hit songs like “I Hate My Job”, “Fight For Love”, “Pilot Tonight”, “Pain”, & “Don’t Leave Me Alone”, the album is selling out its copies in Colorado; while achieving tremendous success on digital markets. With the launch of RuQusS.com, Relationship sold over 150 copies Independently in the First Month! This may not seem like much, but for a 21yr. old college student it has been a major success. With hopes to reach a more diverse audience, RuQusS continues pushing toward the national level. Booking shows across the U.S. & nationwide distribution, with help in promotion is the next step. While Producing, Writing, Recording, Booking, Promoting and doing all exceptionally well, it’s time for RuQusS’ Breakthrough!

While toning his own talents, RuQusS began birthing another dream.. Plan B Ministries! Plan B Ministries exists to give real hope through dreams/gifts God has built in people while creating a safe environment to birth those dreams. A Christ centered ministry, Plan B Ministries focuses on (but is not limited too) Music & Video Production, Photo & Web Design, Artist Development, Business Management, Youth Ministry, Equipping Godly Men & Woman, Discipleship, & Marketing.
