Cruzin the boulevard

Written By: Scott Cogan / Steve Revis

Cruizin the Boulevard

Tell you what I do to get my thrills
I love to drive my automobile
Got two fuzzy dice, listen to me Jack
She’s a low ridin cruiser as a matter of fact
Out on the streets, cruizin the boulevard

I sit low in the seat I’m dressed to kill
I’m gonna ride till I get my fill
My girl done left and she aint comin back
But I’ll find another cause I got the knack
Got big fat tires, listen here Jim
Got a 427 and some mag wheel rims
Out on the streets, cruizin the boulevard
Cruizin the boulevard, cruizin the boulevard
Cruizin the boulevard

Yeah when they see me comin they’re gonna know I’m bad… find some little Honey and take her on back to my pad…

The clock strikes three and the moon goes down
The streets get quiet and there aint no sound
I’m on the streets, cruizin the boulevard
Cruizin the boulevard, cruizin the boulevard
cruizin the boulevard
Got big fat tires, listen here Jim
Got a 427 and some mag wheel rims
King of the streets, cruizin the boulevard
Cruizin the boulevard, cruizin the boulevard
Cruizin the boulevard

BEER BUDGET
Cogan / Revis

BOTTLE OF BEER OR BUCKET OF WINE
WATCHIN THE CLOCK AND PASSIN THE TIME
FIVE O’CLOCK DREAMIN AND ITS COMIN SLOW
LOSIN MY YOUTH AS I WATCH IT GO
THIS AINT NEWS AND YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN
EVERYBODY WANTS A LITTLE PIECE OF THE DREAM
WORK LIKE A DOG AND I’M TIRED OF IT
GOT A TASTE FOR CHAMPAIGN ON A BEER BUDGET

KNOW WHAT I KNOW CAUSE YOU BEEN WHERE I BEEN
PLAY THE GAME HARD BUT YOU’RE NEVER GONNA WIN
GET UP IN THE MORNIN JUST TO BREAK YOUR BACK
TAKE A STEP FORWARD AND THREE STEPS BACK
THIS AINT NEWS AND YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN
CHECK OUT THE WALLET AND IT’S LOOKIN KINDA LEAN
THERE’S PLENTY OUT THERE AND I WANT SOME OF IT
GOT A TASTE FOR CHAMPAIGN ON A BEER BUDGET

EVERYONE WHO KNOWS WHAT I’M TALKIN ABOUT
GET ON YOUR FEET AND STOMP AND SHOUT
YOU LEARN IT WHEN YOU LIVE IT BUT YOU GO WITH THE FLOW
HEAR IT CALLIN TO YA BUT YOU DON’T KNOW WHERE TO GO
THIS AINT NEWS AND YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN
EVERYBODY NEEDS A LITTLE PIECE OF THE SCENE
WORK LIKE A DOG AND I’M TIRED OF IT
GOT A TASTE FOR CHAMPAIGN ON A BEER BUDGET

World Go Away

Written By: Scott Cogan / Steve Revis

WORLD GO AWAY
Cogan / Revis

I'm on the move but I can’t get enough
I wanna live it up and all that stuff
Need to leave it and learn to live
I Aint no fool something’s gotta give

I wanna love but I just go and hide
I like the game but I’m not satisfied
I want it no I aint had it enough
I aint getting enough I aint getting enough

(Chorus 1)
And I, I can hear the teardrops that they cry
Hear them pounding down
Wondering if they’ll be found
And I…

Don’t wanna live as half the man
I want a home in the Promised Land
Like diggin deep with half a tool
I'm in a hole like a drownin fool

I have a dream like a long lost friend
That never leaves me except for the end
Leave behind a world of stone
Make the break and leave it alone

And I, I can hear the teardrops as they fall
Hear them pounding down
Reeling from the sound
And I…will try to find… the way
I… will try…to make the world go away

I want a golden ring on my hand
I wanna feel my feet in the sand
I wanna leave you know I can’t stay
Take a trip I’m gonna be on my way

But then I couldn’t decide
If I could ever provide
Another place I could hide
A private place to be satisfied

(SOLO)

And I…will try to find… another way
I… will try…to make the world go away
