Arriving on the Seattle music scene in early 2007, Rust Belt has built a following around the Puget Sound with energetic and loud live shows. Combining elements of Rock, Metal, Groove, and Industrial, Rust Belt has crafted their sound into a dynamic tidal wave of catchy hard rock hooks, and tight instrumental pieces. Since the release of the Cogs EP (which features vocals by by both Elijah and Sam Heminger), Rust Belt has seen more shows and bigger bookings around the Pacific NW, and is currently being featured on Comcast On-Demand, Seattle channel 1. The band is named Rust Belt as a tribute to their roots, with the members originating out of the mid-west before meeting in Seattle.
