By his late teens, Rusty J signed with an independent record label based in Syracuse, NY.
Being the only white artist signed to a predominantly black label, Rusty J quickly learned that respect is earned by staying true to yourself.
With thousands of fans from the Central New York region, Rusty J splits his time between recording in Nashville, TN and returning to NY to perform.
Similiar to singers Chris Brown and Justin Timberlake and rappers M.I.M.S. and Bow Wow, Rusty J is poised to join Pop music’s elite. Rusty's music, image, and performances reflect an average young man's struggle in life, as shared from one who has struggled himself.
Rusty continually raises the bar... and rises above.
