I Wanna Dance With Ellen(Digeneres)

Written By: Bruce K. Beall

I wanna dance with Ellen and boogie on her stage.
I wanna dance with Ellen , ‘cause she is all the rage.
I dig the way she moves her stuff,
She’s fluid, loose and limber.
She’s cool and groovy too my man,
Dude she has got it in her.

I wanna dance with Ellen and boogie on her stage.
I wanna dance with Ellen, ‘cause she is all the rage.
I like the way she does her thing,
She lays it down all honestly.
She comes right out and does it too,
Man she has got a propensity.

I wanna dance with Ellen and boogy on her stage.
I wanna dance with Ellen, ‘cause she is all the rage.
I’m hep to how she gits on down
When she moves she proves she’s hip.
She puts it out all full of funk.
Bro’ she even lets her backbone slip!

I wanna dance with Ellen.
Let’s all dance with Ellen.
I’m gonna dance with Ellen
Yeah dance with Ellen.
Come on n’ dance with Ellen.
Let’s all dance with Ellen.
I need to dance with Ellen.
I wanna dance with Ellen.
Let’s all dance with Ellen.
And boogie on her stage!

Livin' On Borrowed Money

Written By: Bruce K. Beall

My cards are all maxed.
I’m behind in my tax.
And my bills are all over-due.
My tires are worn out.
And my friends are tapped out.
And I really don’t know what to do!

My creditors call.
I don’t answer at all.
And I can’t help but feel so depressed.
My clothes are all shot.
But they’re all I’ve got.
I’m so embarrassed just to get dressed.

I’m survivin’ on false hope.
Don’t know how I can cope,
Always livin’ on borrowed money.
I’m singin’ the blues,
And I haven’t a clue,
How this bear can get into some honey.

And I’m cryin’…..survivin’ on false hope.
Ridin’ on a donut.
And livin’ on borrowed money’s no fun.
Uh-Huh
Survivin’ on false hope,
Ridin’ on a donut.
And livin’ on borrowed money’s no fun.

I’ve nothin’ to pay with,
And no one to play with.
‘Cause nobody likes a loser.
It really does stink!
And it drives me to drink.
And I think I’m becomin’ a boozer!

My credit’s shot bad.
And I think I’ve been had,
By the buy-now-pay-later-come-on.
My FICO scores suck.
And I’m way outta luck.
My fondest prayer’s to see all my debts gone.

I’m survivin’ on false hope.
Don’t know how I can cope,
Always livin’ on borrowed money.
I’m singin’ the blues,
And I haven’t a clue,
How this bear can get into some honey.

And I’m cryin’…..survivin’ on false hope.
Ridin’ on a donut.
And livin’ on borrowed money’s no fun.
Uh-Huh
Survivin’ on false hope,
Ridin’ on a donut.
And livin’ on borrowed money’s no fun.

Drink To A Better Day

Written By: Bruce K. Beall

The hardest thing I’ve ever done was leave you standing there.
My heart wrenched inside me to know you didn’t care.
Your new love stepped in and stole my life away.
Now I’m searching for the strength to make it through the day.

That’s…why…I’ll…have another beer Joe,
The breakfast of champeens they say.
It gives me strength to party all night
And I’ll just sleep through the day.
So pour me another brew Joe.
And set up a round on me OK?
Let’s all party-hearty tonight,
And drink to a better day!

I never saw it coming on, I really didn’t know.
Until the final curtain, ‘til the end of the show.
By then it was just too late, my best shot held no sway.
Now I’m not quite certain I can face another day.

He appeared to be the better man but only in your eyes.
And someday you’ll know he caught you with his lies.
I can’t help but hope that he strongly rues that day.
But now it’s just this night that counts so let’s just forget the day!

That’s... why... I’ll... have another beer Joe,
The breakfast of champeens they say.
It gives me strength to party all night
And I’ll just sleep through the day.
So pour me another brew Joe.
And set up a round on me OK?
Let’s all party-hearty tonight,
And drink to a better day!

So pour me another beer Joe.
And set up a round on me OK?
Let's all party-hearty tonight,
And drink to a better day!

Genuine Country Song

Written By: Bruce K. Beall

There ain’t nothin’ like a good ol’ country song.
Sing it with a twang and ya cain’t go wrong.
Put a little drawl in yer words fer style.
Stir yerself up some fun fer a while!

If the rhymes r’ easy n’ the tune sounds good,
It’ll sound like a good ol’ country song should.
Sing it like ya was a good ol’ boy.
Tip one back n’ now sing it with joy!

N’ sing that finger-snappin’, knee slappin’, toe tappin’,
EE-HAA
Two steppin’, foot stompin’, quick kickin’,
EE-HAA
Boot scootin’, foot shufflin’, heel bangin’,
EE-HAA
Genuine country song.
We're talkin’ finger-snappin’, knee slappin’, toe tappin’,

There ain’t nothin’ like a good ol’ country tune.
Sing it like ya was a’ howlin’ at the moon.
Ya gotta loosen up n’ jus’ let it flow.
Take a deep breath n’ now let ‘er go!

There ain’t nothin’ like a good ol’ country beat.
Play it real hot n’ keep movin’ dem feet.
Don’t stop groovin’ jus’ keep on swingin’,
Keep it on up ‘til the rooster’s singin’!

If the rhymes r’ easy n’ the tune sounds good
It’ll sound like a good ol’ country song should.
Sing it like ya was a good ol’ boy.
Tip one back n’ now sing it with joy!

N’ sing that finger-snappin’, knee slappin’, toe tappin’,

EE-HAA Y’ALL

I Miss You Already

Written By: Bruce K. Beall

I miss you already and it’s only been minutes.
I still smell your sweet scent in the room.
The plane has just left with you in it,
And I’m fighting back feelings of gloom.
My Ginna’s down-under
And I’m here up-over,
Worldly speaking that is.
But the distance between us
Won’t lessen the keenness
Of the greatest of all time loves.

I miss you already and it’s only been minutes.
My home’s always been in your heart.
There’s no future without you in it.
Somethin’s missin’ as long as we’re apart.

My Ginna’s the sweetest.
Our love is the neatest.
Subjectively speaking that is.
And the time that goes by us
'Til god fits to tie us
Our love will truly transcend.

I miss you already and it’s only been minutes.
I’m unsettled and suddenly lost.
My life must heal from this hole now in it.
So I’ll rejoin you whatever the cost.

My Ginna’s down-under
And I’m here up-over,
Worldly speaking that is.
But the distance between us
Won’t lessen the keenness
Of the greatest of all time loves.

My Ginna’s down-under
And I’m here up-over,
Worldly speaking that is.
But the distance between us
Won’t lessen the keenness
Of the greatest of all time loves.
The greatest of all time loves.
The greatest of all time loves.
The greatest of all time loves.
The greatest of all time loves.

I Wanna SingThe Gospel Like My Daddy Used To Do

Written By: Bruce K. beall

Perhaps it was the sound of God heard in the songs of Dad,
That gave me special feelings and made my heart so glad.
Maybe it was the the words she sang that gave me recompense.
It could have been the place he was that inspired my reverence.
Well I know it is for all these things that I say to you,
I wanna sing the Gospel like my daddy used to do.

I know I felt elation as he sang those holy hymns,
With his rich and mellow baritone voice with tones like aural gems.
It could have been the love I felt as he sang strong and true,
A love that has sustained me o'er my whole life through.
Well I know it is for all these things that I say to you,
I wanna sing the Gospel like my daddy used to do.

I wanna sing about sweet Jesus and his love for you and me.
I wanna sing about the Father and how faith can set you free.
I wanna sing about love lifting me above the storms of life,
And how the holy songs of God can help you conquer strife.
But most of all and I say to you and I say it true,
I wanna sing the Gospel like my daddy used to do.

My daddy was a country boy, he barely went to school.
But when he sang the words of God he was nobody's fool.
Could it be I was so young that he seemed so wise?
Still I think he really was, especially in God's eyes.

I wanna sing the Gospel like my daddy used to do.
I wanna sing the Gospel like my daddy used to do.

Sweet Love

Written By: Bruce K. Beall

I need to sing like a bird in the sky.
I need to be free as the wind in the trees.
I need your love in the sweet by-and-by,
To make me whole and a man again.

You left me lonely and in despair.
You’ve come back now, I breath new air.
Thank God in heaven for your sweet love.
Thank God in heaven for your sweet love.
Thank God in heaven for your sweet love.

I need to dance evermore by your side.
I must confess that I’m lost without you.
I need to give of myself from deep down inside,
To make me whole and a man again.

You left me lonely and in despair.
You’ve come back now, I breath new air.
Thank God in heaven for your sweet love.
Thank God in heaven for your sweet love.
Thank God in heaven for your sweet love.

I'm A Songbird For The Lord

Written By: Bruce K. Beall

I’m a songbird for the Lord, I sing of love and peace and glory.
I’m a songbird for the Lord, I sing to tell the old-old story,
Of the glory from above and our savior and his love,
And of the way he saved us all from all our sins.

I’m a songbird for the Lord, I’m charged with getting out the word..
I’m a songbird for the Lord, I need to make sure that you’ve heard,
That you can be set free from the bondage and the pain,
And you can live in freedom now and ever more.

I’m a songbird for the Lord, I raise my voice and testify.
I’m a songbird for the Lord, I know that I am best if I
Sing honestly and fervently about the love of God ,
And prompt you to sing with me in harmony.

I’m a songbird for the Lord, I’m charged with getting out the word..
I’m a songbird for the Lord, I need to make sure that you’ve heard,
That you can be set free from the bondage and the pain,
And you can live in freedom now and ever more.

I’m a songbird for the Lord, you need to raise your voice with me.
I’m a songbird for the Lord, we need to sing in harmony,
With life’s song that was written by God for you and me,
So we can live in harmony forevermore.

I’m a songbird for the Lord, I’m charged with getting out the word..
I’m a songbird for the Lord, I need to make sure that you’ve heard,
That you can be set free from the bondage and the pain,
And you can live in freedom now and ever more.
And you can live in freedom now and ever more.
And you can live in freedom now and ever more.

On A Tropical island

Written By: Bruce K. Beall

On a tropical island’s where I wanna be,
Soakin’ up the sunshine, swimmin’ in the sea.
On a tropical island’s where I wanna be,
Far from this hustlin’ n’ bustlin’ city.
On a tropical island where the seagulls fly,
Carefree and randomly passin’ me by,
As they search for their next sweet morsel to eat
And I feel that cool soft sand on my feet.

I wanna be there now I can’t hardly wait.
I wanna be there now I pray that’s my fate.
I wanna be there now I need t’ heed the call.
I wanna be there now
Far away from it all,
Far away from it all,
Far away from it all.

On a tropical island lazin‘ on the beach
Where the clamorin’ noise of the traffic can’t reach.
On a tropical island where the palm trees sway
To the cool breezes from across the bay.
On a tropical island where the tan girls dance.
Their undulations induce a trance.
Where the warm bright sun shines the whole day through
And the sky is just the right shade of blue.

I wanna be there now I can’t hardly wait.
I wanna be there now I pray that’s my fate.
I wanna be there now I need t’ heed the call.
I wanna be there now
Far away from it all,
Far away from it all,
Far away from it all.

On a tropical island sippin’ coconut juice.
Mixin’ it with rum makes me feel real loose.
On a tropical island next to paradise.
Just layin’ in my hammock and feelin’ so nice.
On a tropical island far away from the clocks,
Just the thought of it rocks my socks.
Where the care and the worry in my mind disappears
With the beautiful sound of the surf in my ears.

I wanna be there now I can’t hardly wait.
I wanna be there now I pray that’s my fate.
I wanna be there now I need t’ heed the call.
I wanna be there now
Far away from it all,
Far away from it all,
Far away from it all.

My America

Written By: Bruce K. Beall

I salute you my America.
I’m forever proud and honored,
To call you my homeland.
I pledge you my allegiance.
For you I make my stand.

When the enemies of the world storm,
You’re my citadel and refuge,
You’re my bastion in the fight.
You vanquish the foes of freedom,
With your fury and your might.

You are built by those of courage,
Who know well right from wrong,
Whose faith is strong and true.
I’m ‘specially blessed to live here,
Under the red white and blue.

I love you my America,
As do the citizens of a nation,
Who raise one voice in harmony,
With truth as inspiration.

God bless you my America,
May your land be always full,
Of good people touting freedom,
And peace and love for all.
