PR Log (Press Release) – The RVN Band, a Christian Rock band founded and led by Philip D. Derber, announced the upcoming release of their two latest albums, "Heavenly Sounds" and "Running Wild" to take place by the first of the year, 2010.
RVN already boasts three studio projects, "Escape", "Power of Faith", and "Spread Your Wings", as well as two live recordings, "Higher Praises" and "Heart to Heart".
Along with the release of their two latest albums, they are also gearing up for a heavy touring schedule in 2010 to include several "biker" events where members of nationally recognized "1%er clubs" are expected to be in attendance.
When asked, Philip D. Derber, the founder and leader of the band says, "Although we have several studio recordings, we are definitely more effective as a 'live performance band.' That's where we excel."
RVN received notable attention by winning the first ever Ichthus Ascenxion Scout Competition in 2007 and have been hailed as "one of the most ministry oriented bands in the music industry."

The RVN Band is one of the most ministry-oriented bands in the music industry today. Although their music carries a message that's clear, their live events carry a tangible presence that's both life-changing and undeniable.
RVN was the winner of the first ever Ichthus Ascenxion Scout Competion in 2007. This provided them a slot on the main stage at the festival that year.
RVN is the result of a vision. A revelation. An encounter with Almighty God that changed the life of one man forever. That change then began the domino effect that years later became the RVN Band. Philip D. Derber, once addicted to drugs, alcohol, etc., was aspiring to stardom on the rock stage. However, when his life began to spiral downward, God cried out to him, saved him, and instantly delivered him from his addictions and a pending divorce. Giving away all of his guitars, Philip also gave up on his dream of stardom. But God... had another plan, "You'll play at my feet and on my stage!" Over the period of a few years, God began to give Philip lyrics, melodies, songs, guitars, and people, some of which were involved in the "party scene" with him. As Philip continued to be faithful to God, the RVN Band was born. Because of the lifestyle that Philip was delivered "from," God powerfully uses him and the RVN Band to minister healing, deliverance and restoration to others in a way that only God can. Every RVN event is a demonstration of the truth that Jesus is still Lord!
RVN has and does play many types of venues from biker rallies to church conferences to large festivals.
