Bio
Many artists comprise the underground scene of hip-hop but very few have what it takes to dig themselves out. RXN is one group that is set to explode from the underground into mainstream life. RXN is a hip-hop group with a fresh and innovative sound for the next generation. If you are searching for outer planetary rhymes and next millennium beats then just look to Tha X.
RXN’s sound is for all listeners; those that want to hit the dance floor, ride out, vibe, or just sit back and think. Every song is rooted with deep spiritually enriched messages about life. While many emcees speak of violence and the street life, RXN offers the solution to life itself...Jesus Christ.
The original name of the group was “R.E.A.C.T.I.O.N.,” which stood for Rap Evangelists Aiming and Calling To Individuals Or Nations. The acronym became the word “Reaction,” and now the group goes by the chemical abbreviation of “Reaction,” which is “RXN.” The group’s alias is “Tha X” [X meaning Representatives of Christ].
In 1999, Tony Gabaton [former president] founded R.E.A.C.T.I.O.N. The group started out as a community outreach at Oral Roberts University. The group remained under ORU’s supervision for two years. In 2001, Gabaton left the group and the reigns were handed to William Coleman, who remains the leader and now President of RXN Ministries. Over the past four years the group has had 32 total members. Currently, Tha X has 5 emcees and a dancer: Thrill, Izrahel, Lazarus, Coco, Ransom, and Catalyst. Representing the East Coast, Dirty South, and Midwest, RXN encompasses a style that is unheard of by its musical contemporaries. Their creed is to "Love all, Serve all." Their music is an expression of their lives, and they have set out to reach the masses with energizing songs that have amazing beats and power packed lyrics.
RXN is making a buzz on the underground scene. Putting action behind their words, they have been involved in many community outreach programs around the Tulsa area. RXN has performed at churches, jails, clubs, and various other venues.
