Bio

The past belongs to yesterday and the future is shaped by who and what we are today. So Ryan Boss doesn’t concentrate on yesterday.

With his love of words and song he captures a moment and moves it forward. Make no mistake, his music vividly proclaims where

he’s been and who he is, but most importantly it is a journey into tomorrow.

At first meeting, Ryan appears to be reserved and introverted. Get to know him better and you will find that he is quite sociable and friendly.

He is genuine and easily relatable with a complete sense of where he wants to go.

At 23 Ryan has experienced more than most of his peers which is reflected in his music. He writes about these experiences and feelings,

good and bad, in an unambiguously straightforward manner. His songs evoke an emotional response and that is perhaps why his

audience finds his music so easy to relate to.

Ryan began playing guitar at the age of 14 and was initially inspired by the performance styles of Michael Jackson and Stevie Ray Vaughan

who contributed in opening the gates to his own style. At 17 he went on to play and front several local bands combining a repertoire

of covers and original music, but creating his own words and music has always been his foremost desire.

He continues to shape the future by performing acoustic shows in intimate settings in front of audiences throughout the southeast.

Ryan loves to play acoustic shows and says “it's a more personal, pure form of the instrument and there is a much

deeper connection to the audience.” Many of his fans have said “it is getting more difficult to tell if Ryan is singing a cover

song or an original because he seems to make every song his own.”

2012 began a new chapter in Ryan’s musical growth, with the addition of a manager, new material, and great opportunities.

He is in the process of putting together a group of musicians to work on his first studio effort and will also be touring California

which kicks off in San Diego on August 28th.

The way Ryan Boss is hard at work today the shape of thing to come looks very bright indeed.
