BandCountrySinger/Songwriter

I'm a country music singer/songwriter from northeast Arkansas that writes music based on the things people around me speak, think, feel, or do. I'm very inspired by life and the notion of, and I try hard to portray all of these events in the music I write. In one word... perseverance. That's me.

Biography

I've grown up singing in churches, and because of that, I feel that I have a certain, more personable element to the music I write and sing. In recent years, I have performed many times in front a small crowd in my hometown of Brookland called "The Roundup". It's there that I've learned what stage presence is all about, and as I've performed more and more, I've seen many faces react positively to the music I play. Evoking emotion out of a person through music is a testament to how strong a song can be. And I've seen my songs bring smiles to people's faces, and even tears to a person's eyes. It's this emotion that I crave to bring out in people, and I feel that through songwriting, I can do just that.

Lyrics

I Still Love You

Written By: Ryan Foster

You said, “Whatever”, as you turned and walked away
One confused heart with nothing left to say
I said, “Well, I know how problems can begin…
You gotta keep the outside from lookin’ in”
And a tear rolls down her face
Baby, always know I’ll be here; right here in this place

--Chorus
‘Cause I still love you
Like a garden needs the rain
Just to hold you
I’d give all my life away
And I know deep down in your heart
That you do, too
And I still love you
Yes, I still love you

It’s exhausting, the burden of this load
But see it through, and we’ll mend this broken road
You try to tell me to let go of the past
So, how can I when my faith forever lasts?
And you say to me, “Try not to care”
But baby, how can I forget this promise we share?

--Chorus
‘Cause I still love you
Like a garden needs the rain
Just to hold you
I’d give all my life away
And I know deep down in your heart
That you do, too
And I still love you

--Bridge
So baby, tell me how we do this
‘Cause I don’t wanna be apart
Let devotion guide you
Right back to the start

--Chorus
‘Cause I still love you
Like a garden needs the rain
Just to hold you
I’d give all my life away
I still love you
I don’t wanna feel this pain
Just to know you
There’s so much more to gain
And I know deep down in your heart
That you do, too
Yes, I know deep down in your heart
That you do, too
And I still love you
Yes, I still love you
