Lyrics

Eurydice

Written By: Ryan Homsey

Eurydice wakes up in the silence
And colorless light of the underworld
"Try and remember whom you've forgotten"
She hears a sound from the other side

He played for the mountains and made the earth cry
All of Nature would bow, tame or wild
He sang to the rivers that would change direction
But he couldn't change the course of time

Eurydice wanders through the stillness
Of lonely minds and empty hearts
Her prince didn't know it would be their last kiss
He doesn't know how to say goodbye

He played for the mountains and made the earth cry
All of Nature would bow, tame or wild
He sang to the rivers that would change direciton
But the flowers were missing from her eyes

I remember when we first met
We were so young, so in love, so innocent
You played the saddest most beautiful music
The day, our wedding, how could I forget?

You don't have to be alone with me
I've been singing your song in me
You don't have to be alone with me
I've been singing your song

He played for the Darkness and it revealed her
My love, remember who I am, here I am
Now I will lead us and you can follow
And we can begin where we did end

My love, are you with me?
My love, are you with me?
My love, are you with me?
I turn around, she's gone again

Playing Games For Love

Written By: Ryan Homsey

GOING OUT TO START A FIRE
PLAYING GAMES FOR LOVE
OH, THE RUSH COMES
I'M READY TO EXPLORE

FIRST WE MEET YOU BRING ROSES
WOW, I'M PLAYING GAMES FOR LOVE NOW
FOR LOVE, OH BOY, THINGS HAVEN'T BEEN THE SAME
SINCE YOU CAME MY WAY

YOU'VE GOT THAT LOOK
MAYBE I DO TOO

DESIGNING NEW IMPROVED FLIRT BOMBS
MAKES ME WANNA PLAY LOVE GAMES NOW
I NEVER KNEW I COULD FEEL THIS WAY
WHEN YOU TOUCHED MY FACE

I WANTED JUST TO FLY HIGH
TO TOUCH THE SKY AND SMILE
WHOA, DANCING WITH YOUR BRIGHT LIGHT
TAUGHT ME TO CRY

YOU'VE GOT THAT LOOK
BABY I DO TOO

HEARTS BEAT IN TIME WITH THE MUSIC
CAUSE I'M SO IN LOVE WITH YOU NOW
WHOA, PLAYING GAMES WITH YOU
MAKES ME FEEL SO GOOD
MAKES ME FEEL SO GOOD

Take Me With You

Written By: Ryan Homsey

over over and over
we've done this before
something isn't right and we talk it through
over over and over

you say this time is different
and words can do no more
i say whatever it takes
we can make it through

you decide if you're getting tired
if you're weary
look where we've been and where we are now
and if you're movin' on
take me with you

you've made a date
with your office in the sky
well nothing's going on down here
can you see beyond the clouds up there?
tell me what it's like
do you see a better life
with someone else?

you decide if you've had enough
of you and me
decide on your beating heart
and if you're movin on...

you can think it over
i know it's not the way we planned
just remember
on the things we have

you decide if you're getting tired
if you're weary
look where we've been and where we are
you decide if you've had enough
of you and me
decide on your beating heart
and if you're movin' on
take me with you
take me with you
take me with you
