In Ventura County, California, Ryan started playing in middle school when he and some friends formed their first band. He enrolled in private instruction and continued through high school playing with many different groups. After realizing he had an aptitude for technical equipment, Ryan sought out classes and internships in recording studios where he gained much knowledge and experience in recording engineering. Soon Ryan moved to Hollywood and attended Musicians Institute, graduating from multiple programs including Music Business, Recording Engineering, and Guitar Performance. In the summer of 2006, Ryan was recruited by emerging country artist JC Andersen and he and the band toured Florida for the rest of the year and the beginning of 2007. In May Ryan moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he currently resides and there he and JC and the band hope to grow and find success in the industry.

"I believe as long as I have feeling I will play guitars, and as long as I play guitars new music will be made for all those who want to feel the impact."

-Ryan Petersen

Ryan has not yet released any records but has been involved in many independent recordings.
