"Capable of Great Things"

"Smart catchy lyrics make the music able to appeal to a wide crowd. The vocals are intoxicatingly smooth and clear drawing you in"

- Artsy Noise (music blog)

"He scraped against time, and time scraped back"

"Seattle native, Montana raised gem of a musician, recently recorded a second EP, Lonely Scientist. When I got to hear it the first time, I felt those braided muscles in my shoulders shiver and release, ending tension that was so on going I had forgotten it was there" - My Best Friend's Arm (music blog)

"Ryan Rebo -Dizzy American"

"almost perfect in its composition; both in the timing and in the music" - Justin Wayne (UK based radio show host)

Bio

Seattle born musician Ryan Rebo has been creating and recording a wide variety of music for the last decade. He first began his obsession for music at the age of 15, as a bass player in a young band. Since then, he has been involved with numerous musical groups, taking diverse roles. In 2001, Ryan created Broadband Shortwave, in which he then sang, wrote lyrics and played guitar and keys. Broadband Shortwave created sonically rich electric driven music, often compared to groups such as Radiohead and Spoon. The group produced and recorded an EP called Lazy Atoms, and I dided Last Night. They shared the stage with acts such as Elf Power, Via Audio, Times New Viking, Mirah, Why? to name a few. Although gaining momentum and receiving favorable reviews, the group agreed to go separate ways in the spring of 2008 in an effort to pursue their own personal ventures. He immediately began creating Dizzy American, an independently recorded full-length album under the name Ryan Rebo. Beginning the album in August of 2008, Dizzy American was completed in January of 2009. The album originated as a bedroom recording project in his home in Montana, and later moved to a private studio space in a beautiful valley surrounded by Montana mountains. The following year Ryan moved to Brooklyn, NY and recorded a five song EP called the Lonely Scientist, working with a producer who had worked with the likes of Death Cab For Cutie and Paul Simon as an ex-NY branch Sony Records producer.
He is constantly writing and evolving, pulling from many influences such as Neil Young, The Eels, Joseph Arthur, Bob Dylan, to name a fraction of many.
