Sallis is on the Badger men's soccer team, but the senior from Milwaukee has still managed to teach himself guitar during his undergraduate years. As singer/songwriter, making it in the highly competitive music business would seem like a daunting task. But for 23 year old Ryan Sallis, this is just one of many obstacles he looks to conquer. Growing up with a not so lavish upbringing has taught him to appreciate the simple things and brought him to understand everything happens for a reason. With a love and passion for music in his blood, he looks to take on the music industry with his debut album, Brighter Days has recently been released via download at Dig Station, with the physical release slated at the beginning of the New Year at CD Baby. His powerful blend of acoustic/pop folk/soul is marked by a soothing yet dynamic voice. Add in his deep, creative, fluid lyricism and the final product could make for a scary success. Im just hoping to get my music out there for people to enjoy and hopefully relate to in some way. He notes. Ryan is currently working on booking a steady schedule of shows in the near future to promote his freshman release.
