Music for Manhattan

The recent terrorist attacks on the United States have really struck a chord with a West Van teenager.

Singer-songwriter Sabrina Korva, 15, is holding a concert at the G-Note Bistro in Vancouver at 8 p.m. this Saturday night with all proceeds going to benefit the New York firemen.

The Sentinel student says she was in Orlando, Florida writing and recording with producer Guy Walker, a former band member of the Backstreet Boys, when the terrorist attacks on the U.S. occurred.

Korva first gained recognition at age 13 when she was asked by North Van rocker Bryan Adams to sing a duet with him during a local concert.
