Bio
Sacco and Vanzetti is a five-piece indie rock group who find themselves very much at home in Denton, TX. The band crafts songs inspired by the desolation and redemption of Springsteen’s America, the paralysis and scope of Joyce‘s fiction, the beauty of the North Texas sky, the poetry of the West Texas landscape, and the value in a good Western flick. Sacco and Vanzetti is composed of the primitive, vicious rhythmic assaults of Marcus Coronado’s acoustic guitar, the pronounced yet mannered pulsing of Jordan Jenkins’ drums, the lush, massive grooves of Jesse Botello’s bass guitar, the anxious, delicate textures of Sam Coronado’s electric guitar and voice, and the polite, considerate ornamentation of Jesse Miller’s keyboard.
Currently, the band is working on their first EP. Various members of the band also work on Denton’s latest local music webshow, A Small, Good Thing.
