SACRED INNOCENCE-BIOGRAPHY
Music is like a seed planted in the fertile soil of our minds. With every beat of the drum or strum of the guitar, that seed grows into a tree which then bears the fruit of emotion and thought. It is this that Sacred Innocence brings. Formed in 2007, the band (Brian Truesdale-Drums, Scott Truesdale-Bass/Piano, Jason Truesdale-Lead Vocals, and John Cobb-Electric/Rhythm Guitar) started leading worship for a local church and knew right away that their chemistry was unique. Soon after, they started penning their own songs of hope, triumph and redemption and began spreading their message in local churches throughout Georgia. The band had a break out year in 2010 when they added Casey Lambert to Lead Guitar (Casey has formerly played for Kelly Garner, author of Dove Award nominated song “I Stand Redeemed”) and supported country pop singer Katie Lawhorne (Radio Disney-Next Big Thing Artist). Managed by Moss Media Group, the band is currently wrapping up their first EP due this summer on the Greendub Recordings imprint, home to Dove Award winning artist Stefan the Scientist, and noted classical/gospel violinist Tesia Onae.
