Sacred Intent are a Christian Alternative Rock Band based in Canberra Australia. Forming from other projects in mid 2009, they are set to bring a new dimension to the alternative rock sound.
With hard hitting rhythms combined with soaring melodies, their music is written from the heart - taking the listener on a musical journey by sharing their experiences and communicating the truths through the music they play.
Sacred Intent exist for the purpose of telling people about Christ, and to communicate God's truths through their music. Sacred Intent does not seek fame or fortune. It seeks to take any opportunity provided to impact the lives of those who listen to our music, whether it be an audience of 10, or 1000.
The members of the band have previously toured in other bands/projects throughout Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Fiji and the USA - playing at many festivals including Easterfest, Blackstump, Mosaic Festival, Baybeats, and Michael W Smiths Rocket town in Nashville TN, plus many other events.
With a high energetic live show, Sacred Intent are one band not to miss. In their short time together, Sacred Intent have shared the stage with the Classic Crime (USA), Nubian Gents (USA), and many other Australian artists (including New Empire, Lukas, Drawing North, Redruth and Playjerise).
