Bio
Sadiki Bakari was born in Cleveland, Ohio and relocated to Los Angeles, California at the age of four. His leadership qualities have always been in the forefront even as a youth. He is a published Author, Lecturer, Motivational Speaker, Poet and most importantly a Field Researcher and Visual Documenter of our story with a primary focus on Africans in the Diasporas. His ever-relevant debut nonfiction title, Butt Naked, Raw & Uncensored has garnered rave reviews, and is also the author of his explosive 2nd title, Psychopathic Amerikkkan Culture: The Dichotomy of Reality and Illusion. The streets, the University and Corporate America gave Sadiki a critical and empirical analysis on the state of Africans and the inhumane and corrupt sense of American culture and socio-politics.
His voice is a remarkably powerful and intelligent artistic culmination of knowledge, wisdom and uncensored truth with the capacity to speak on numerous topics, such as Ancient African History to Activism to Hip Hop and beyond from an African center, of course. His Visual Lecture Presentations challenges and changes the lives of its viewers including children, college students and elders. Many have been very impressed by his detailed synopsis of Africans place in humanity and world history.
Sadiki has shared the stage with historical and intellectual icons such as Runoko Rashidi, Amiri Baraka, Angela Davis, Dr. Julius Garvey (son of Marcus Garvey) and Ashra Kwesi to name a few.
