Sagazza calls themselves a Rock N' Roll band. Well, if your idea of RnR is sex, drugs, songs written from the cock to try to get laid, these guys ain't gonna fit the bill. Songs like Silent & I Die Alone prove these guys have somethin' a little more important to say. The bass groove in Numb kills and I really dig Far Away. Their singer is one of the few screamers that has the ability to not only scream in tune but to sing as well. The biggest problem Sagazza has is a lack of production. They deserve to be in the studio to polish these songs. I've never heard these guys live, but I know that their songs have to sound great live! If you're into all that assigning genres shit, I'd call this more metal than anything, more like Iron Maiden or Sabbath (Sharon, they'd be great for Oz-fest!!! Nikki, fuck Sum41, call these guys!!). I hope I get a call from these guys sayin' they're in the studio gettin' ready to release their first album. Sagazza is a Miami, FL based Hard Rock band. With its brand of non-apologetic, emotion fueled and heavy hitting music, it is a force to be reckoned with. In just over a year since its birth, Sagazza has created a following that’s spans throughout the country as well as overseas without the backing of a record label. They provide an outstanding live performance that moves and excites the audience.
HEISSON, age 22. Vocals and guitar. Will have the girls’ hearts throbbing. Heisson’s voice with its power commands people to move. His vocals, astounding. His guitar playing, marvelous. A born front man.
ERIK STONE, age 27. Bassist and back-up vocals. Erik’s brand of playing, thunderous vocals and his presence on stage are indeed a force of nature. His songwriting, which reflects the events of his life will have the audience in awe.
MIKE MENDEZ, age 21. On drums, Mike is as energetic as a Martian on speed. When he picks up his drumsticks, no one sits still. Whether he is playing with sticks, bells, gongs or cymbals, his ability and showmanship is second to none.
The creative genius of these performers has brought on a new brand of Rock that will not be easily forgotten. The themes that run through their musical creations involve the audience in the reality of day-to-day living, expressing joys and tragedies that the audience can relate to. Sagazza is what Rock and Roll has been waiting for to jumpstart its heart once again.
