Sahara

Sahara has been singing since the age of five, and demonstarted exceptional talent at an early age. Her powerful voice, huge range and flexibility lent itself easily to the music of such divas as Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, but this was just the starting point for her. It was upon her dicovery of the soul songs of Aretha Franklin that she truly began to find her own voice. The most important aspect of any form of music for her is the emotional truth and expression, and she has continued to go from strength to strength as she has become more and more expressive and soulful. This was put to wonderful use as a solist for the world-reknown gospel choir, the Glide Ensemble (as seen in the film Pursuit of Happyness). She has since been writing and her performing her own music, and has worked with incredible musicians across North America and Europe. Sahara is not like other singers- an exceptional talent who regularly has audience members in tears with her emotional truth, passion and power, she really is a natural star.
