Sahel Horan Group (Jordan-Arramtha)
Established in 1992 by Abdullah alnabhan (leader of the group)
Registered in the Jordanian Ministry of cultural affairs
Our group's name came from 'Horan area' which is very fertile in the north of Jordan, part of 'Horan area' qualities is fertility, . We pan grows Olives and Coevals.
Sahel Horan group has performed throughout the world as well as in international folklore festivals. And performed in most of Jordanian festivals and carnivals .
Sahel Horan group dedicated to the presentations and preservation of traditional folklore of Jordanian dance, Costumes will continue to reflect traditions and values of Jordanian people .

The group have folkloric representations that combine dance and music.
Dabkha Dance is the most popular folk dance in north of Jordan it’s widely performed at weddings and joyous occasions( the leader of the Dabkha heads the line ,Alternating between facing the audience and other dancers .
Alhassad Dance : we present the folklore of arts in north of Jordan (Arramtha City)by our shows which explain the life of people which is presenting the life of farmers and how we deal with the soil.
Some instrumental music
1-Mijwiz : is a very popular instrument. it’s played by breathing smoothly through a circular aperture at the end and by moving the figures over the holes.
2-Tablah. Is a small hand drum. 3- daff 4- Shababha and other instruments……………..
