A must have on the radio
Reviewer: DJ Pure
This is HOT!!! Everything about it. Saila's message is what we need to hear on the streets and churches. I think I heard her song Send Me an Angel from her other CD on the radio here in VA. Positive message. This a must have CD. I will be rockin Simple Life on my spot on the radio.

Neosoul
Reviewer: Garfield
I like how Saila's CD has a little neosoul thang going on and the jazzy feel of Amazing Grace. She got my vote. This artist is definitely here to stay!!

Urban Groove
Reviewer: Ge Ge
Now this artist is what I call a crossover of urban/neosoul music with a positive message. I purchased her CD in the "D". A week later I played her CD while in traffic and was able to cope with the stress of the traffic.

Traditional vs Contemporary
Reviewer: Thelma
I am more of a traditional gospel person. However, I thank this young lady for putting hymns on this CD. I was touch in a special way of memories of those hymns and touched spiritually by Sending my Love. I am glad I sowed into her ministry by buying her CD.

Reality
Reviewer: Tom
I bought Saila's CD and liked the reality of things on her CD. The tracks that stood out for me were Free to be and Simple Life.

Postive Message
Reviewer: Nawania
I like the message that the gospel artist is singing. It makes me feel happy and inspired. Definitely worth buying and can't wait to see her in concert here in the UK!

"The Gospel Awards"

Blessed with a appearance as a ministry performer at The Gospel Awards 2004 an event raising money for Cancer victims and honoring many gospel greats. The event was held in Sarasota, Florida. Saila Rachelle's electrifying performance, surprised the audience. Sharing the stage with Kierra Sheard, Terry Newsome, Johnny Saunders, and many others, she was blessed with good words from the great Andrea Crouch that she definitley has something. We are looking forward to many years of hearing and be blessed by the ministry of Saila Rachelle.

Originally, from Detroit, MI, Saila Rachelle's upbringing in the church where her godfather the late Reverend James Caver was Senior Pastor, she learned at an early age how to depend on God. Her singing aspirations began to take form at the age of seven when she delivered her first solo rendition of Amazing Grace. Later being introduced to the worldly life, she went through many struggles. In the mist of her struggles she stayed strong and pressed forward by finishing college, not knowing that God had a much bigger purpose for her life. During her time attending school for her degree in Business Administration and Applied Behavioral Science, she performed as an R&B Alternative Rock artist, who was known as Saila. Years later after being born again, she realize through direction to mediate on the book of Psalm and prayer, that she was destined to carry the name Saila (Selah) that means pause & reflection on what is being said, with a similar meaning as Amen within the book of Psalm.

Through receiving sound ministry advice from many within the ministry, and also being inspired by the music ministry of Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, the Clark Sisters, the Winians, Shirley Caesar, and Mahalia Jackson, Saila Rachelle began pursuing her destiny in the music ministry.

Saila Rachelle has had the opportunity to grow in ministry by serving as one of the Worship Leaders at New Birth Inner City Church, Prayer Partner on Atlanta Live TV57, and is apart of a wonderful spiritual family at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, where Bishop Eddie L. Long is Senior Pastor.
