This is music for those who wish to repent and Bern McMahon’s keyboard skills immediately convert. Lyrics are belted out with conviction over a bare bones arrangement that allows the message to dominate before drums fade into the distance as if the drumkit is leaving town on the back of a flatbed truck. There’s something a bit I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues (Elton John) in B-side Professor Please’s guitar lines. This Melbourne five-piece share members with Little John and Downhills Homes.
