"Saint Elouise"

Saint Elouise
Hear a live interview and music of Saint
Elouise performed at Abbeyville Road
for the Jiminy Jazz Suite.
Saint Elouise is a keyboard, drums & bass
pop/jazz band based out of Lancaster, PA.
“St Elouise is the bees knees! I swear if they
are not on the radio or something within the
year I have no faith in today’s society.” –
Mosaic Lancaster
Saint Elouise consists of lead singer,
keyboardist and guitarist Christina Berg. Her
vision for the band began two years ago, and
was quickly formed into reality with the
addition of bassist Derek Stoner. Two
months later saw drummer & percussionist
Mason Hunt joining the ranks. Since then
they’ve been actively performing around
Lancaster county and surrounding areas,
including Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center,
Chameleon Club, Uprise Festival, Crocodile
Rock Café, and many local coffee shops.
Full of irony and love, frustration and
compassion, Saint Elouise’s music and
lyrics take on many sounds, drawing from
genres around the world. At every chance,
they take the opportunity to return the gift of
music to listeners through playing at
benefits, non-profit fundraisers or giving a
portion of their profit to a charity. They
adore performing and plan on touring the
world over, but ultimately want to have a
positive impact on the hungry, orphans and
those less fortunate.
Their style is a unique blend of pop, jazz and
folk. Artists that have been compared to
Saint Elouise are Norah Jones, Dido &
Diana Krall. Saint Elouise is the next artist
of the decade – expect big things from this
very talented and matchless band! For additional information visit our profile on Mixposure.com

"R&R with R&R"

• Saint Elouise played its first gig with its new drummer last week at Millersville University's Student Memorial Center.
Christina Berg (lead vocals, keyboards, guitar) and Derek Stoner (bass) welcomed Scott Macfeat Jr. to the band with a show with Katy Glorioso.
Christina says she is working on new songs, one of which she recently posted on Soundcloud. Check out "Meant to Fall" at https://soundcloud.com/clbe....
The trio will keep busy practicing as Scott learns all the band's songs, but Christina says she is looking to book some shows.
We'll keep you posted.

Bio

St Elouise is described as sultry, adventurous, & evocative. This female-fronted jazz/pop project from Lancaster, PA is lead by vocalist/keyboardist Christina Berg, aka St. Elouise. Her style is a unique blend of pop, jazz, & soul along with classical & latin inspiration. While being compared often to Diana Krall, Dido & Sara Bareilles, among others, St. Elouise draws inspiration from a wide range of music including Alicia Keys, Chopin, Queen, The Cure, Muse, Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Jackson & Elton John.

St. Elouise formed several years ago when Christina decided her few songs needed extra support. Once hearing bass & drums added to her piano, she knew this was what she needed to do - write & perform music.

Although most often seen playing her original tunes at gigs, St. Elouise has a vast cover repertoire of oldies including Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald & more.

The name St. Elouise came from a combination of Christina's middle name, Louise & the patron saint of outcasts and orphans, St. Eloise. Christina's heart melts for children involved in sex-trafficking, a world-wide abomination that leaves kids sometimes orphaned but always outcast. She is involved with groups such as LOVE146.org & northstarinitiative.org.

Shows with St. Elouise are always guaranteed to be entertaining - whether it's a drum off between herself and her drummer Scott Macfeat, a moving song, cracking poor jokes or YOU up on stage performing, St. Elouise will always exceed your expectations for the night.

St. Elouise is working on her full-length album "Showdown", slated to be released this fall. Until then, check out her 3-song self-titled EP on iTunes.

Join St. Elouise in the amazing journey of making music, friends & love to last a lifetime!
