"The Sound is Genuine"

We're always looking for something new, a sound that is different, from a music standpoint Saint Eve brings incredible potential to the electronic scene.

Received the new CD Elixir and listening to the first couple of tracks I was definitely pulled in. The sound is geniune. By the third song I'm at the website checking out details of this band .. I have to know more about what's behind the music. Surprised and definately impressed to find that the album is the work of 1 woman.

"Sonic Journey"

The latest perversion to explode inside my musical curiosity is New York based Saint Eve. Saint Eve are an immersive, multi-media music experience that weaves a mystical-erotic symphony of sound. For one dos not "listen" to Saint Eve, one experiences a sonic journey through the soul, an exploration of the senses.

Bio

Saint Eve is the creation of L. Gabrielle Penabaz. It's a band the way solo projects are a band - it's rare that you're entirely on your own, even if you're alone on stage.

The songs are influenced by old-school Glam superstars and New Wave divas, leading the tendency toward strong emotion with fat synths and spiky guitars.

Coming out of the performance-art party scene in New York's Lower East Side, Gabrielle created Saint Eve to be a vibrant and modular act that incorporates a wide range of performance elements. This means you might catch a solo show with video or a full-on band. The solo act makes it easy for Gabrielle to show up with backing tracks on a cd, a video and some costume changes.

Saint Eve gigs are booked for a variety of audiences. The inherent theatricality of the shows places the act as a headliner at club parties more than regular band nights at bars. You can find Saint Eve as easily on a Burlesque stage as you would at an Industrial Disco or Rock club. Venues vary in size from CBGB size quarters to Irving Plaza and Webster Hall (NYC), House of Blues (New Orleans), and the Forum (London) among others.
