Bio

Saint Jude, a band in the tradition of great British rock groups and described by legendary Rolling~Stones producer Chris Kimsey as like a "Modern day Janis Joplin fronting the Faces". With Praise like this it's easy to see why Ronnie Wood jumped up and guested with them at their recent Paradise Club gig and played slide guitar on their soon to be released single, "Garden of Eden". Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) and Mick Jones (The Clash) have been spotted at their shows and Mike Scott of The Waterboys invited them to tour the UK with them.

Fuelled by their love of vintage Soul, Rock n Roll, and playing live, the band have set about forging their own unique sound. Add to this some incredible song writing, the stunning vocals of Lynne Jackaman and the raw power of a band at their peak, Saint Jude are now ready to spread their Rock n Roll gospel to the World.

"Singing these songs is my therapy" says Lynne Jackaman. And its easy to believe her. Lynne soars above the band with a power and grace that has not been heard in many years. Brought up on a diet of Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin and Led Zeppelin she finally found a group of like minded Soul Fiends and in 2006 Saint Jude was born.

Blurb Magazine says " The audience got an infuse of 70's style southern psychadelic rock, hard and catchy enought to make even the strongest non believers question the morals"

Musictruth.com.uk".....The most beautiful front woman in London......superstars in waiting....if you happen upon these Saint Jude characters in another place and another time do yourself a favour and stick around"

After a summer of soaking up the south, Saint Jude have recorded their debut album with Rolling Stones producer Chris Kimsey and mixed by Dandy Warhols producer Tony Lash.

"Saint Jude is a way of life" muses Lynne....."when i sing and the band play nothing else matters"....
