Bio
Saint Ravine fill your ears with catchy, melodic, surf/pop music. Front man Chris Ravat’s soulful voice and original and relatable lyrics are guaranteed to strike a chord with audiences and create a feel good vibe.
Chris Ravat, picked up the guitar 3 years ago in an effort to find a creative outlet and keep up with an ‘exceedingly creative’ former flame.
“Singing was a passion, and although I had toyed with the idea of learning to play guitar, something clicked when I purchased my own and the songs started to write themselves”.
A little over a year later Willem Lieftink (drummer) heard Ravat working through some originals at a bbq and insisted that they put a band together.
For Willem, bass player Michael Savage was the obvious third piece to the puzzle and after several incantations Saint Ravine emerged.
The band are looking to release an EP in time for summer 2012/13 and look forward to playing “as many times as people are willing to listen”.
