Musically I've explored on my first recordings the region between those two seemingly contradictory traditions, opera and Hindustani classical song. Lyrically I've been trying to write Bengali art songs in English, all the rage and romanticism in the heart of a Bangladeshi Muslim feminist bellydancer.
