SAKI BOMB

SAKI BOMB is a DIY project by Electronica/Ambient producer and musician Christoph Kresse. 
A Hamburg Germany transplant artist, based in South Carolina (USA), he creates electronic soundscapes, mixed with a unique blend of Scottish Bagpipes, world percussion, drum machine beats, field recording samples and lush synths sounds. SAKI BOMB’s music can be joyous, yet dark at times, invite to dance or daydream. Kresse himself views SAKI BOMB as a transcendent performance act, mixing audio and visual elements into a unique experience. The spread of SAKI BOMB’s music genres are quite wide and range from Techno, Ambient, IDM to Drum n’ Bass and Trip Hop.

SAKI BOMB has self-released an entire catalog of EPs and singles since 2010 through his Bandcamp site and performed across the South Eastern US, with performance highlights including Nophest 2013 (Atlanta), TEDx 2012 (Greenville) Drone Fest 2 (Clemson) as well as several College Radio appearances. Music blogs, fans and concert goers compared SAKI BOMB’s sound to established artists such as Boards of Canada, Massive Attack, Crystal Castles and Aphex Twin.

In 2015, Kresse recorded and produced the soundtrack to the independent Documentary film SYNTHESIZED ©2014, to be released in 2016.

The fusion of analog haze and digital clearness, reflects on SAKI BOMB’s mastery of production and composition work, inviting the listener into a world of electronic, ambient bliss. Elements of deconstructed house, dark ambient techno, organic pulse, handcrafted samples, bagpipes and modular synth collages sculpt the music that is SAKI BOMB.
