Saline is a rock n' roll band from the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago, IL. Built on the concept of simplicity, Saline stays natural, instrumentally, and interests listeners with a male and female dual-vocal approach.
The members of Saline are influenced by a wide variety of artists including: Bayside, Muse, Silverstein, Armor for Sleep, and Alanis Morissette.
Saline consistently manages to interest fans by creating entertaining video updates and maintaining friendly relationships with listeners around the world. One of the biggest selling points of this band is their contagiously positive attitude on and off stage.
On July 9th, 2010 Saline put together a fundraiser show raising over $550 for a local summer camp (Camp Quality USA) dedicated to giving childhood cancer survivors relief. Shortly after this event, Saline finished their Self-Titled EP, which was released on August 6th, 2010.
In mid-August 2010, Saline had the opportunity to compete in the Illinois State Battle of the Bands; Saline made it to the final round placing 4th out of a total 120 bands in the competition.
Saline recently recorded their sophomore EP entitled, "Blackout," at The Square Studios in Marcellus, NY. The EP is set to release March 26th.
