Album "Solid Flesh & Blood' released November 2012. Has received national airplay on community radio and regional ABC (Illawarra), topped at No 4 on National Blues Roots Airplay Chart, has maintained a position in the top 25 on the Chart for the last 6 consecutive months.
Album featured on two radio programs with entire program devoted to album: 2MCR (Dave Anger's Coffee Club) and the Australian Spectrum Show (Alive 90.5 with Ross Fear).

Bio
Sally King is a red-hot-mama with a big voice to match. She is both a consummate performer and seasoned songwriter whose love of rhythm’n’blues and soul music is reflected in her own compositions.
Sally was born into a musical family and raised on a heady mixture of jazz, blues and Irish music. She made her name as a high profile member of the Sydney rhythm’n’blues scene, wowing audiences with her passionate, powerful renditions of her original songs, classic soul and old school r’n’b tunes. As front person for her own bands, Sally performed in major venues in Sydney, ACT and Melbourne throughout the late 1970s - 2000.
Career highlights include a six week USA tour with Bo Diddley (1975), guest artist appearances with overseas blues acts, and local bands, Sydney Festival appearances and a prison tour.
In 2003 she participated in the historic Women'n'Blues album with Jeanie Lewis, Margaret Roadnight, Wendy Saddington and Kate Dunbar.
After a brief musical hiatus to focus on writing and recording Sally returns to the stage to perform her original repertoire that reflects her love of rhythm’n’blues and soul music. Sally performs with her husband and musical partner, David Green as a nucleus for their duo, adding drums for a trio format and guitar / keyboards for full band. All formats come under the Sametribe name.
Now as a recording artist she brings a wealth of experience and a large catalogue of great original songs to the wider public arena.
