“Ethereal, spacious... like a ghostly being talking to itself.” - VICE

"Hear Salt Cathedral’s Sweet Cheer-Up “Tease”"

Here's a morning cheer-me-up from Brooklyn four-piece Salt Cathedral, called "Tease" and itself a lil first tease of their next release. Sounds like maybe Purity Ring meets Wet meets drinking watermelon juice while a bamboo wind chime does its thing. - FADER

"Salt Cathedral - OOM VELT EP"

“Evocative... as immediate and cool to the touch
as Ellie Goulding.” - Pitchfork

Bio

Salt Cathedral is a New York-based band comprised of Colombian musicians Juliana Ronderos and Nicolas Losada. They
create pop music that is informed by global sounds and rhythms, and is characterized by a unique vocal approach to melody and songwriting.

Salt Cathedral have released three EPs, two singles, and will release their debut full-length record in early 2017. Not only have
they garnered over nine million plays on Spotify and thousands of fans from all over the world but their music has been featured
on prestigious music publications such as The Guardian, Pitchfork, FADER, VICE, Billboard, Consequence of Sound, and The
Village Voice.

Salt Cathedral perform extensively, having played over two-hundred and fifty shows across the United States, Japan, Canada,
France, Switzerland, and Colombia. They have shared the stage with fellow artists Hundred Waters (Skrillex's OWSLA),
Christine and the Queens, Anna Wise (Kendrick Lamar), Jojo Mayer's NERVE, Tei Shi, Young and Sick, and Cibo Matto,
amongst many others. Onstage, the band combines live instrumentals, electronics, and choreographed lighting to create an
immersive environment of “crackling energy” (Pitchfork).

Salt Cathedral’s debut full-length album, due in 2017, is influenced by Brooklyn’s Jamaican dancehall scene resulting in an
album steeped in island summer sounds, blended with the band’s distinct electronics. The album’s first single, “Run For The
Money,” features Jamaican dancehall legend Assassin (aka Agent Sasco), best known for his recent collaborations on Kanye
West's “Yeezus” and Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp A Butterfly.” It also includes a collaboration with dub legend and pioneer Lee
‘Scratch’ Perry and with Brooklyn’s own Matisyahu. With their long-awaited debut, the band aims to expand and redefine the
uniquely multicultural genre in which they have operated for years.
