"Music Connection Magazine Top Ranking"

This young Minnesota band has a mix of influences that result in crafty, compelling modern rock. "2x2" is a slice of Vines meets Foos that boasts powerful drumming and a wall of sound that, while a bit noisy, is still engaging. Miles' lead vocals are a consistently fitting frontpiece. The change-up, "Time," is an introspective ballad that shows the band has artistic ambitions. "Chimps Ahoy" channels a Kinks-ish riff with a B-52's vocal arrangment that gels well. A talented band that demands attention. - Music Connection Magasine

SALUTING THE ROCKIES
Like a full tank of gas in a borrowed car.

Power and intensity without direction and focus is nothing but a gruesome, cover-your-ears-and-cringe, head-on collision. Saluting the Rockies has the muscle under the hood and the brains to keep a map firmly in-hand. If it's sugary, it's raw sugar, if it's reckless, it's never a wreck, and if it's hydroplaning across a wet highway with innocent woodland animals in harm's way, be sure that all hands are 10 and 2 on the wheel.

STR is driven by sophisticated and sympathetic drumming triggered by an agile right foot on the accelerator. STR breaks through with robust and melodic bass lines. STR tops it all off with 100% cheese-free guitar hooks that are firmly attached to a line and ultimately, to an idea.

"This band has something cool. They look and sound like they belong together. A talented band that demands attention." — Jimmy Landry, A&R Rep for Capitol and Virgin Records

The band is from Minneapolis, Minnesota USA (a bit east of the Rockies). The band is Miles Paquette-Falk and Grant Bielefeld.
