New York singer-songwriter Sam Setton shows off his first single called "Berlin," and it's a smooth one.
While there isn't anything too extravagant going on with this tune, perhaps it's the simplistic indie pop sound along with Setton's soulful sound that makes this one stick.

Sam Setton released his debut track not even two weeks ago, but there is already great reason to be optimistic about his future. A modern-day singer/songwriter, Setton combines great song structure and soulful lyrics with aspects of indie electronica and chillwave for a unique and full sound that goes well with the coming summer weather.
The debut track in question, “Berlin,” is a great listen from start to finish. It provides an emotional overtone but keeps an upbeat rhythm with creatively integrated sounds and even some crunchy bass design in the instrumental parts. The differing aspects make this track appealing to a pretty wide range of listeners, and Setton manages to pull all of them together into a cohesive first statement. - Dancing Astronaut
New York City native Sam Setton is a singer/songwriter who has been creating raw and honest music since his early teens. Only after years of experimenting and exploring as an artist, did Sam craft his current sound – a blend of electronically driven pop and R&B.
He spends his days working in a midtown skyscraper as a financial consultant, but spends his nights holed up in the studio, working towards his eventual escape. His music springs from this struggle. Sam’s debut single ‘Berlin’ has found its way into the ears of noted curators, and has been featured in playlists such as ‘Fresh Finds Hiptronix’ on Spotify.
“Berlin is a song I wrote about the constant struggle of being in a toxic relationship,” says Sam. “On the surface there’s honesty; feelings of regret, love and hate. But at the core, there is a hope that with patience, things will work out.”
Sam celebrated the release of Berlin with an atmospheric sold-out show at Pianos in New York City. The buzz around the track shows no sign of dying down any time soon – we look forward to hearing more from this new talent as the year progresses. - Good Music All Day
