After years of struggling to live in the real world, Sam and Abbie have decided to enter a fantasy world of their own creation, in which they attempt to make a living as singer/songwriters. Please pretend to like their music even if you don't, because their mental state is very fragile and their supply of medication unreliable. Even in their fantasy, they know they will never be as good as Gililan Welch, Sam Beam of Iron and Wine, or any of their other heroes and heroines. With luck and lots of support, they will get through this psychotic episode with their marriage intact.
The best thing about their music is Abbie's voice, which has a warm energy that makes you feel like everything will ultimately be okay. Sam and Abbie feel very lucky to have fairly adventurous fans since, at least so far, most of the songs do not sound much like anyone else, certainly not anyone else on the radio.
