"Drip and Bleed", "The Pushaw Lake EP"

Sam and Yuri started out as an unplugged duo consisting of members Sam Chase and Yuri Trusty. You will usually find Sam behind an acoustic guitar and Yuri behind a piano, but they've been known to switch around. As long as Yuri or Sam has known himself, he's known the other. Separating Sam's style from Yuri's would be impossible. The two spent years together singing, dancing and sword fighting before recording their first official album, "Drip and Bleed". Their comfortability with harmonies is a reflection of their comfortability with each other. "Drip and Bleed" was recorded at NESCOM studios in Bangor, ME with producer Cory Deshane. The encouraging local response from the release of their first album propelled Sam and Yuri to expand their live performance. Cody Allard, an experienced guitarist from the group Fear Verona, joined Sam and Yuri on drums. Jared Botting, who grew up with both Sam and Cody, saddled up on bass. Mike Wellington, who recorded all of the viola tracks on "Drip and Bleed", returned to play viola, guitar, and accordion. The five-man-band spent only a little time playing together before accidently stumbling upon a magical bottle of wisdom. This led them in to seclusion with the great producer Cory Deshane to record The Pushaw Lake EP. From here, their story is a ? Where will they find themselves next?
