Samantha Casey & The Bluegrass Jam from Eastern NC offers entertainment for all ages with their fun-filled show of traditional and original bluegrass, bluegrass gospel, and fiddle tunes.
Samantha Casey & The Bluegrass Jam features 14–year old Samantha Casey on fiddle. Samantha began fiddling at age 5, performing at age 7, and has continued to entertain audiences with her fiddling and vocal talents ever since! She is joined by her dad Daniel Casey (banjo/vocals), Jeff Huffman (guitar/vocals), and Dell Tims (bass).
They gained national attention by winning the 2007 Oreo & Milk Jingle Contest in Times Square, New York City. They are also the recipients of the prestigious 2009 Ginny Wicker Music Award presented by the Country Music Showcase in Smithfield, NC.
