Bio
Sam Cadman from Ocean Grove in Victoria, Australia, is an award-winning and prolific songwriter and composer, who has played with alternative bands Beggardawn, The Forgotten Ghosts and Fine Motor Skills and has now set up his own studio to focus on writing, recording and producing solo material.
Critics have described Sam's work as “Very cool and enjoyable... Conjures Elliot Smith/ Iron and Wine comparisons but also has its own independent identity...[A] haunting overall quality that draws the listener in closer. Lots of wonderful tone colors and character” (17th Annual Billboard Song Contest, 2010). Sam won the Pacific Songwriting Competition 2008 Indie/Rock Category and had two songs shortlisted in the top 125 of the 2009 Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition.
