Sam Cooper is inclined to get a little too busy. Since moving to Portland OR at the outset of 2007, he has gotten involved with numerous bands and projects, playing frequently around town, and touring nationally both as a solo act and as a multi-instrumentalist with Horse Feathers.
Lately, Sam has been focusing more exclusively on his solo material.
In the spring of 2008, Sam set out to record a three part series of EP's, which ended up being released as the full length LP Spiritual Billionaire. The ten song album includes guest musicians from Horse Feathers, Blind Pilot, and Strangers Die Everyday, in addition to Sam's performances on guitar, banjo, violin, bass, flute, accordion and more.
Sam is in the process of assembling a band called Providence Plantations.
