Sameon is the epitome of love…unconditional love that is. At the age of 31 he has insight to share. Through the years his experiences have given him pearls of wisdom of which he is dedicated to sharing with the world. He provides an extraordinary presentation which encompasses humor, music, written and spoken words derived from his personal experiences which have proven time again to assist others through their inert growth patterns. Many have asked how someone of his young age is able to extend so much wisdom. The answer is simple…experience is the best teacher. The lessons of his life have helped him to overcome racism & victimization, deal with internal / external conflict, balance his feminine & masculine energy, learn to love self, and evolve from an abusive upbringing. The fruits of his transition have helped him to assist others to move from conditional love to love unconditionally, develop positive relationships, and come to the realization of ones true and highest self.

This native of Atlanta, Georgia; the eldest of 11 children, grew up around music. From his church roots where he watches his father vocally arouse the congregation, his grandfather who continues to display his vocal prowess, or the influences of MTV. Amazingly, Sameon didn’t come into his voice until he was 16. However, he has been involved with the art of music since he was 13, beginning with the orchestra (cello and upright bass) continuing with band and chorus until his senior year of high school. These activities inspired his thirst to create and perform on a bigger stage. Thus began his journey in the music industry where he performed with several R&B groups until he began tired of the redundant message. This led to his transformation to a solo artist with a much wider musical presentation and lyrical substance that has been displayed in quite some time. It is his desire for everyone to enjoy his music not just a select few. His debut album, My Journey, provides this opportunity.

Sameon has a wide range of musical influences. While he grew up listening to nothing but gospel until the age of 12 he quickly became a fan of the likes of Marvin Gaye, John Lennon, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Terence Trent Darby, Lenny Kravitz and Brian McKnight.
