Samira, a brilliant 17 year old singer and songwriter from Columbia SC, is being hailed as the music industry’s next youngest superstar. Samira has been compared to any and, every trend setting female singer over the last decade, but she has a unique style and talent to share with her audience. Samira’s voice and personality are dynamic, original with a smooth edge.
Samira has captured national attention by winning Apollo, and McDonald’s Music Fest (2006). She has performed at the U.S. Open in NY and the Women of Glamour Awards with National Recording artist Mary J. Blige. The multi-talented teen has also appeared in Town’s Theatre Musical, “Bye-Bye Birdie with rave reviews.
Samira recently completed training at The Harlem School of the arts in New York City where she was offered a full performing arts scholarship. Samira was one of ten selected out of thirteen hundred vocalists around the World to attend the elite Professional Performing Arts School in New York, NY.
