Bio
Samira is a multi-talented artist who is professionally trained in Indian Classical Music, Pop & RnB. Some of her idols and inspirations are Guiness World Record holder Lata Mangeshkar as well as Sade, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Tamia and Michael Jackson.
In addition to English, Samira is a versatile artist who can sing in three other languaes, Hindi, Bengali and Urdu. She loves making music that can connect with many cultures in the world, a fusion of both the east and west.
Over the years, Samira has had the privilege of working with many eastern and western music teachers, producers and composers.
Her first single "freedom" was released in November 2010 on iTunes, muchmusicshop.com and HMV.com and it was also heard on many radio stations across Canada.
