Sam Muccio

I have been a performing musician since I was 14. I am now 21 years of age( I can show you my ID if you don't believe me). Back then I was playing primarily jazz. As a youth I took extensive classical piano lessons, and piano has always been my main instrument. I sport a Yamaha P-120 which is very reliable(and loveable.) I started singing in Rock Bands around the time I started playing in jazz combos for cash around Columbus (2005). In High School I was always playing somewhere. Having successfully auditioned for two jazz bands which were competitive and highly renowned (the CYJO or Columbus Youth Jazz Orchestra & the Grandview Heights High School Jazz Ensemble), I also participated as an actor in plays and musicals, which helped me develop a strong stage personality and flair beyond just being able to 'play' well. In College I took this to a new level at Belmont University (a prominent music school in Nashville TN) where I played in coffee shops, bars, houses, and was the keyboardist in their also-competitive TOP jazz ensemble. I was attending under a generous scholarship. I now play and write songs as always, and am excited as ever for the future and what lies ahead. I have an open mind and love traveling and exposing myself and my music to new ears and places. You never know what might happen. I am known for my extensive repertoire and spirited interpretations of a vast number of songs and artists.
