Fulfilling her dream as an artist, Filipino-Canadian artist, singer-songwriter and guitarist, SammyJoe Sabornido, is your new, up and coming, local musician.
She has played for Make A Wish Foundation at Club Brebeuf, played open mics at Slacks, Supermarket, Tranzac Club, and now is a main performer for St. Joseph's Morrow Park High School's 50th Anniversary Concert.
SammyJoe's lyrical content exploits the way we see her life into our own imaginations. Her recorded music is set to the mood that she has locked herself in to incorporate self-explanatory emotions. An inspiring artist like SammyJoe, her music has been compared to Avril Lavigne, Tim Armstrong (RANCID), Dashboard Confessional to Taylor Swift. With a powerful voice, strong rapping and powerful lyrics, SammyJoe is a competitor to whatever she does.
