Sammy Strittmatter

Hi. I am Sammy. I play music, write songs, and I sing too. I am currently living in Dallas, Texas which is unfortunate because I love the beach and love surfing. The closest beach is six hours away and it sucks. I am, however, able to enjoy the company of my family and some of my closest friends that live in the area. When I’m not working on my music, I like to record and produce other artists. And I’m always up for seeing live music, be it at a festival, concert, or a local show.
I began playing the drums at the age of eight and that led to learning other instruments and playing in several bands along the way. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to play with some great people that happen to be amazing musicians. Now I am putting on the finishing touches for my first solo album that I hope to complete by Summer 2008. It’s taking a bit of time because I create every sound you hear on all of my songs. Plus, after I write and record each song, I also mix and produce each track myself. I am a completely independent artist and I do not have a record label. Yet
